A Fan Coil unit is a device for Heating and Cooling, it can be used for residential and commercial HVAC’s systems! It will enable a on or off capability that you may not of had otherwise. These devices vary and may come equipped with a thermostat, some units run at a louder volume, some larger then others, some mount on to the ceiling while others mount on the floor, all depending on design, make, & model of the FCU you choose. The two categories of fan coil units are “draw through” & “blow through”, the draw through coil has an advantage in performance, while the blow through coil has more versatility, of how you install it, may it be wall mounted, floor mounted, or mounted form the ceiling.
